New Zealand's Winning Team in the Volvo VISTA 2024
Published 19 April 2024 / By Jewel LopezHot on the heels of being named Volvo Service Retailer of the Year, our Service Manager David Emms and Technician Ed Smith continued their winning streak and clinched the number one spot in New Zealand (and third overall for AU/NZ) in the NZ VISTA 2024 competition. Their outstanding performance has earned them the opportunity to compete in the Market Final Competition in Sydney, going head-to-head with the Australians.
Originating as a competition for Volvo technicians in Sweden in 1957, VISTA has evolved into a biennial global event now recognised as the largest competition for aftermarket personnel worldwide. The prestigious competition fosters teamwork, builds team spirit and pride, and encourages self-improvement and competence development, significantly contributing to advancing knowledge and elevating work standards within the aftermarket sector.
VISTA serves as an invaluable platform for thousands of individuals globally to enhance their skills and knowledge base, ultimately leading to heightened performance in their daily roles. The collective efforts of participants not only raise the bar for excellence but also result in delivering only the best customer service and increasing customer satisfaction across authorised Volvo dealerships from all over the world.
